Loved the spacious room with high ceilings, spotlessly clean bathroom, and fresh milk in the fridge. Dinner was stellar!

Charming historic decor, Luxurious jacuzzi baths, Scenic countryside views
Bathroom maintenance clearly requires attention!!! The lack of reliable Wi-Fi in certain rooms is a letdown. Poor lighting in the rooms makes for a gloomy atmosphere!!! The misleading signage makes finding the hotel a challenge!!!

It was just an ideal choice for a brief pause in Gestingthorpe with good price-quality ratio. The full English breakfast was superb, probably the best I’ve ever had. Make sure to check out the delicious local produce at breakfast.

missingWrote a review on 05 Maycomfortable roomdelicious breakfastinadequate lightingpoor dining experienceshower overflow
The room was comfortable and offered lovely views across the open fields, with fresh milk provided for tea, which was a nice touch. the lighting in the room left much to be desired, and the shower had issues with overflow. While the staff were friendly and attentive, the overall dining experience fell short, particularly with the limited and poorly executed evening meals, unlike the delicious breakfast we had. A mixed experience overall, with some great moments countered by notable shortcomings.
